WARREN SYMPHONY SOCIETY ANNOUNCES ITS LARGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR

The Warren Symphony Society’s Board of Directors and its staff are celebrating 52 seasons of the Warren Symphony Orchestra (WSO). The WSO was established to ensure Warren and its surrounding communities had access to symphonic music after public schools began disbanding orchestral programs in the 1970s. The WSO is a professional orchestra completely funded by its supporters and donors.
The WSO’s 2026 Winter Gala supports cultural enrichment, community entertainment, and youth engagement for the greater Metro Detroit area and is scheduled for:

The 2026 Master of Ceremonies is WJR Radio’s Marie Osborne and co-chairs are City of Warren Councilwoman and WSO Board of Directors member Mindy Moore and WSO Board of Directors member Diane Young. “We ae so grateful for our patrons, supporters and donors,” says WSO Executive Director Joyce Russell. “We work diligently to be an accessible and affordable cultural gem for Warren and its surrounding communities. Our mission continues to include exposing school-aged children to symphonic music to cultivate a new generation of classical music lovers. We encourage all the generations of a family to attend together.”
